Following a conversation here a few weeks ago, I had a chat with staff at Camera House in Lower Hutt regarding disposal of #darkroom #chemicals.
They said they didn't have any particular processes for minimising environmental harm with the disposal of the #photography chemicals they use, and agreed that it wasn't great.

That sucks. I was talking to Imageland here in Ham the other day, and thoy apparently do silver retrieval, for themselves and the darkroom at Wintec, so that's kinda cool. Didn't talk much about disposal that time though.

@cuddlyanarchist I might have to ask the Aunty that owns Hutt Cameras, and the hipsters at Splendid in the Wellington CBD
