Meta will move away from human content moderators in favor of more AI - Lemmy NZ

As if their human moderators were any good…
I didn’t realize there were any humans doing the moderation now! I am very report-happy and the results on Facebook somehow manage to be worse than the Steam forums!
I hope it actually works… a lot of content moderation on the larger platforms is done by people in third world countries where they don’t have to provide them with mental health care.
Cool, I’m in the process of moving away from Meta as they implement AI, in favor of human interactions.

Me too. I’m an .edu user from 2005.

Facebook moderation has always been an illusion. You could skin a person on Facebook Live, and they would’nt do a god damn thing about it, and that’s been the case for years.

I hope in turn humans will move away from meta.
