Define #crocodileTears

An aggressor's sadness, fake or cluelessly entitled, because their aggression backfired

Example:

#Afroman's "Lemon Pound Cake" mocked a #police raid on his home (resulting in no charges)

They sued

Because "waah, my feelings"

One of the officers "cried" on the stand

Afroman won

And congratulations Afroman for reigniting your career

"I got the right to kick a can in my backyard, use my #freedomOfSpeech, turn my bad times into a good time"

@benroyce There’s a video of Afroman striking a woman on a stage standing next to him (for some unexplained reason) and it’s very unflattering. It suggests that he’s flawed like many of us. But his rights should be respected and protected.

@wendinoakland

oof

i didn't know

@benroyce This, from me, earlier:

So it seems he has a history of effed up behavior. He still has rights, including the right to live safely in his home. Lots of folks walking around with abhorrent records and nobody seems to think it’s a problem.

@wendinoakland

yeah

morality is never a straight good/ bad

like "i support the iran regime because i hate the usa" or "i support the usa regime because i hate iran" is stupid immoral bullshit

we condemn both regimes. that's the moral position

so we can cheer that the police lost here, and condemn afroman's misogyny, at the same time

@benroyce I’m a big fan of stasis, because there’s never any real purity. And we *had* stasis, mostly, with Iran… but Jared is Bibi’s buddy, and they wanted to fight, but it’s so much trickier than they thought. So, yeah.
