This week all making has been on hold as I urgently had to clear every ground floor room in the house for repairs to subsidence cracks to be done. This prompted a much needed office clean out, down to the carpet. A lot of work, but it feels much better for the decluttering.

I hope the repair work goes well and your house can be stable again.
Enforced decluttering can be such a catylist, though.
@MakersHour Thankfully the investigations of the cracks have confirmed there is no structural concerns, only cosmetic. So that is a relief. Just minor movement due to the clay the old part of the house is built on shrinking in the hot dry Summer 2024 most likely. Cracks stopped growing at least 9 months ago so just making good now. At least we get most of the house repainted.

Oh that's good news.
Hopefully it will stay in it's new position after the redecoration.
I guess climate change is going to cause more of these little issues.
