@Blender is there any newly released versions that strictly require Python 3.12?
We tried to refresh Blender in Guix, but were not successful yet

@sharlatan There is no version release that requires Python 3.12.

Blender follows the VFX Platform guidelines, which in 2024 and 2025 required Python 3.11, so all Blender releases published during that period (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 5.0) use Python 3.11.

Blender 5.1, the latest release that came out earlier this week, uses Python 3.13.
