tl, dr = The Soviets put their female pilots in their worst airplanes. After a while the women came up with a great tactic. Fly at night, get the planes up to their maximum altitude and then glide over the German lines. They could bomb the enemy with impunity.

MimicJarSally Ride was the first American woman to go to space. She was not on the space shuttle Challenger. I assume it’s the story of her becoming an astronaut and the challenges she faced.
That being said, I agree poor title.
From the description it seems it’s set against the backdrop of The Challenger disaster.
Oh! Seems I have more Challenger history to learn. Sally Ride was on the space shuttle Challenger, for it’s second mission making her the first American woman in space. Sally Ride was not on the space shuttle Challenger for its tenth mission, the one that tragically exploded.
But it is a he same ship. Additionally she did investigate the explosion.
Well now I’m looking forward to this story to fill me in on how it all happened (dramatically of course).
An Australian science podcast recently did a series on the Challenger and Columbia disasters. It was pretty interesting, I could see this being a good series for sure. I’m the opposite to you, not really knowing anything about the life of Sally Ride, so that’s an extra angle for me.
