This is me i.e. I only mask some of the time (basically most activities except social ones).

#mask #maskUp #masking

@tomkindlon I don’t mask when socialising 1 on 1 with trusted friend (s),or outdoors in U.N. crowded areas, and I do sometimes indoor dine with mask most of the time and a portable HEPA on the table. I also mask at home if my daughter picks up an infection from her day service! I never ever see anyone else masking now
@tomkindlon
Yeah, I was just guessing. "This place seems crowded, better wear a mask." But then I bought a CO₂ meter and some of the places I'd assumed had stale air, with high concentrations of other people's exhalations, turned out to have very good ventilation. Now, my choices to mask or not are informed by better information than my own (very fallible) vibes.

@Voline Yes, fellow Aranet4Home stan!!!

I still prefer dining outdoors when possible just because I don’t get out much and nature is nice, but it helps me a *ton* to have this tool and I wish more people knew about it. #Aranet #CO2 💜

People's Co-op 1500(!)
Fred Meyer ≈850
AFC Urgent Care waiting room ≈1750(!!)

@Voline @tomkindlon oh dang, new seasons & public library are rocking it!! I’ll try to remember this when I’m next in your fair city
@moss
From what I've seen People's staff all wear masks at work and they still provide free surgical masks at the door. Good for them, but a more systemic solution would probably be worth looking into.

@moss

Food carts really are a blessing for outdoor dining, eh?

@tomkindlon thank you for masking up & for helping normalize it
@tomkindlon I am more apt to mask when I have 'the sniffles' or feel a bit off. Other people don't have time to deal with whatever crud I'm carrying.
