@OrbitResearch I wish the subsidy program covered Orbit Slates or Orbit Reader 40
@wenwizzle Have you ever looked at the Assistive Technology Fund from the Association of Blind Citizens?
@dhamlinmusic Yes. I've been considering that funding source to help me purchase a DotPad, but since I'm now a full-time student, I have other funding sources available to me
@wenwizzle Ah ok, just thought I'd ask as no one seems to know about that.
@dhamlinmusic They let me apply biannually. I just haven't been ready to shell out the money yet since you have to make the purchase on a strict deadline.
@wenwizzle Yeah, they are also very flaky and I would not ever suggest them to someone needing something on a deadline.
@dhamlinmusic Yeah. Luckily my case worker is amazing. I'll get what I need. I just need to be super patient!
