@calvin @timonsku They had some of the fastest / usable python env & package management, linting, and type checking tools. Stuff that isn't built into Python itself sadly.

This opens the door to whatever desperate moves OpenAI does in their quest to make some sort of profit. At best, a distraction from continued development; at worst, expensive slop in your env manager.
