Hot takes: I don't like automation nor AI.
No, it's less about the aspect that it replaces people and reduce labors, it's the fact that it makes everything soulless and not fun. Everything is so fast and rushed and you don't even remember what happened when you're doing a thing because it's too fast and you only try to achieve a temporary goal. There's not a single achievement happened, there's no efforts nor heart nor love be put on it, there's no joy and laugh about how a thing stupidly happened because of your act or other people's act. It's just pure plain focus and goals.
Everything happened at a hypersonic rate. There's no journey, there's no lessons, there's no learning, there's no growth, there's no progress, there's no relationship, there's no communication, there's no pleasure nor it's enjoyable, there's no rest, there's no love. Only solving problems quickly. You don't even remember why AI wrote this code, you don't even remember why you make a thing, you don't even care or put itty bitty love and optimization on it, all your focus were: "this needs to be done ASAP." This is soulless society that, to me, I must admit I against.
Every part of your life supposedly gives you room for growth, connection, and make you be a better person and also makes you feel good or better. You should be able to be and feel "I became better everyday" and "I get new things everyday." I just don't enjoy the life where you only focus on less human aspects on it and gives you zero improvement.
