A teammate has been fasting for Ramadan, and as I joined the team meeting she was in the middle of saying something like "all of you have turned into food items for me."

I chuckled at this, in what I hope is a sympathetic way, acknowledging these last few hours of her fast. And having called myself to her attention this way, she immediately (immediately! she really is thinking we're food) said "Erik's a pineapple."

I am delighted at this.
