@tg loved the form as much as I loved the text. I can’t help but think that my mechanical wrist watch really is the quiet thing though, as unlike yours it won’t beep. 😛

Ha, I realise now that I might have used an incorrect term. I said mechanical to mean “one with gears inside, and a dial with hands on the face”. Maybe analog would have been more correct? It has a quartz and does use a battery, which needs to be changed like the Casio one.
