@dillyd lovely. Back in the seventies a friend's mother bred quail just for the interest. One night we all sat and watched as an egg hatched on a girlfriend's palm. Quite fascinating and more than a little magical.

@dillyd it was. And more so for the young lady who actually held it on her palm watching the egg tooth chip its way and the egg gradually turn over as the chick worked around.
