Currently reading "The Hunger" by Alma Katsu, with my living a brief walk from Donner Memorial State Park - Worked from there for a number of years too. Eventually need to read "The Indifferent Stars Above".

Super into the show "From", loving the depiction of the Sluagh from my Irish roots. Love that solid Irish figures having been delivering on horror: Damian McCarthy (Caveat, Oddity, Hokum - Which I'm super hyped to see in the theatre), Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise & The Mummy [2026]), and

acting presences the likes of Cillian Murphy and Jack O'Connell. Not to mention some great obscure pieces the likes of "Kill the Irishman", "Eyes of Fire", and "The Nightingale" in my lineage there. And can't forget the delivery from the hip-hop group, Kneecap, either.

Plenty of excellent features in my Portuguese roots: "Pixote: Law of the Weakest", "City of God", "O Sangue", and "Tabu". Moving work from the actor, Wagner Moura: "Elite Squad 1/2", "Narcos", "Civil War", and "The Secret Agent"

(Quite hyped to see soon). My inspiration to learn the language coming from wanting a better experience out of eventually reading "The Devil to Pay in the Backlands".

Australia, among my top intrigues for foreign travel, has a treasure trove in horror: Wolf Creek, Rogue, Wake In Fright, Dark Age, Next of Kin, Lake Mungo, The Loved Ones, Talk To Me, Bring Her Back, Incident at Raven's Gate, Razorback, The Reef, & The Babadook. Can't forget the Mad Max series (From the 1979 original to Furiosa -

My all-time favorite film franchise) & what a worthwhile gem Mr. Inbetween is.

Then there's directors such as Werner Herzog, Andrei Tarkovsky, Sergei Parajanov, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Béla Tarr, & so on.

Beyond all mentioned, I can say I have a solid expansive wishlist across various mediums (film, shows, books, video games, etc.) for anyone who cares to reach out in curiosity.

Even then though, I'm not allowing such passion I have for storytelling to get in the way of my major life goals

- Endgoal to my strength/mass journey, languages I aim to learn, my education-to-career journey, who I actually care to settle down with for the long-term, travel plans, etc., etc.
