I was one of the people who said “oh no, these soldiers are not there to defend *against* the US, it’s about showing that Europeans are serious about Greenland’s defence. Well. Looks like they were serious to defend Greenland against an US invasion.

@rikefranke.bsky.social I think it also shows, you've been talking about this extensively already, that Europe for what it's worth is actually becoming sober and much less delusional about the US partnership and wider geopolitics.
