I don't usually work so close to home, just a short walk along the road. This is not as easy as yesterday. The stones are rounded, not flat, and the land is saturated with soft mud dug out from the wall foundation clinging to me.

This wall has been repaired many times, it's gradually slipping downhill and falling over because of the soft wet ground.
