@neil You seem to be outdoing me in daffodils quite comprehensively!
Maybe I do too much peering at my solar and stuff but I think about how nice the day is in kWh at this point 8)

For us in Cardiff too…and an almost perfect bell curve which pleases my OCD…
@TCMuffin @etchedpixels @neil I don't often manage a proper bell curve, because we're limited on export so once the battery is full the output is clipped.
(although the EV should help with that a bit now!)

@revk
Our grid export limit is 6 kWh and a few days ago we were feeding the grid at 5.9 kWh for several hours after filling our 27 kWh batteries and heating our hot water tank.
We have 26 panels with a generation capacity of 11.7 kWh…10 on the NE (141°) roof and 16 on the SW (219°) roof on the back of the house.

That same evening, we were still running the house from our batteries at past 2200 at night, despite earlier heavy oven and heating usage and our batteries were still two thirds full at that time.
A bonus was that we hadn't drawn anything from the grid during the most expensive 1600-1900 tariff and we could still top up our batteries during the cheapest 0200-0500 tariff time.
