Almost Totally Foss.

I’m looking towards migrating from Obsidian to Logseq MD. The official Telegram client is not completely foss and its server is fully proprietary, so until Matrix becomes good enough to try again to persuade my family and friends to use it, I’ll consider this middle-ground. And for the last one, there is the banking app. I’m lucky enough to not have to use a complicated root hiding method or any Google services implementation but a Foss banking app (No a crypto wallet) is a dream I would love to see in real life. Of course there are a some propietary PWA I have to use too (Like google Classroom) but is more libre not having them installed and discouraging their use.

Whiteboards can be linked to and you can paste page links into the whiteboard. So pretty seamless as far as that goes. Ive written script outlines in whiteboard that link to the pages. And there are a lot.

That being said the whiteboard doesn’t like to be drawn on more than like 150 paint strokes. I use it more like a place to lay things out with text blocks that I can move around.

Hyperlinks: I can paste them in but they don’t seem to be clickable at least when I’m trying on mobile while traveling.

Iframe’s: don’t think they work. Would be cool though.

Import/export: 🤷 never tried. Can’t seem to paste an image, perhaps linking to a page would show the image on the page

Templates: non existent

Whiteboard future: 🤷 I hope they keep it, even though I do t use it too much. It’s great to have for those off moments.
