I got to see this exhibit years ago. Very unsettling. My joke to break the tension was pointing to writing on a piece of stone and saying, “hey! They really did use Roman numerals!”

@JJ @j I saw this exhibit as well and still shutter at how the human body reacted when hit with the extreme heat from the pyroclastic flow.

You can look up the details, but do so on an empty stomach.
