Inspired by Flip Noorman, I read "A Furious Devotion: the authorised story of Shane MacGowan". It tells the story of the life of a brilliant songwriter. His self-destructive coping mechanisms are sometimes painful to read. But a very good reason to listen to a few brilliant Poques albums again.
