One of my most favourite trees - and spots - in Canberra. It never fails to hold a moment of awe for me and the vista beyond and all around it. Very special nod to mother nature 💪 .

That first shot bring back memories.

Can remember sitting on our back veranda in Curtin on Saturday arvo [circa 1990], looking across the pines, with the trees and top of Dairy Farmers Hill sticking up above them.

@gnoll110 ☺️ The pine forest was beautiful. 🌲 I love the arboretum now that there's some good growth and more sections planted. And it looks stunning atm after all the rain.
