That was so long ago...

that was FOUR years ago.
I still have the notebook on which I drew a stick figure of myself rolling my eyes while pretending to take notes in the meeting in which we were lectured about how the metaverse was the future.

@tommyhp naa, it’s worse. no one looks cool with a bike helmet either, yet people do use them.
An entire branch of the tech media just spent a year copy-pasting Meta’s press releases without doing the littlest bit of investigative journalism and we collectively wasted two years of our lives listening to influencers who knew nothing about what they wrote about.
Good thing they learned their lesson and would never do such a silly thing ever again!
