Muztagh Tower (7,273–7,284m) is a seriously tough climb, known for its steep, mixed rock and snow routes that demand top-notch mountaineering skills.
First ascent: On July 6, 1956, John Hartog, Joe Brown, Tom Petty, and Ian McNaught Davies (British team led by Nicholas Clinch) nailed the summit via the northwest ridge. Second ascent: The French team (Guido Mignon, Robert Paragot, André Contamine, Paul Keller) hit the top five days later via the southeast ridge.
