Quincy ⁂Same. And unfortunately it's not driven solely by upper management anymore. Now there's social pressure from peers as well, who've lost all their critical judgement to the sirens of big slop.
I think of it as a kind of sinister doping, harmful and ultimately destructive, and want no part of it. Looking around for a slop- and slopthink-free job right now. I can no longer endure what has become of this.
It feels like my carefully honed skills are no longer wanted here in the short term. Only quick & dirty slop, slop, slop and infinite tolerance for nonsense.
