I don't really want to kill rich people or wish them dead; I just wish that there weren't any. That would mean that we'd all be in the same boat, equitably speaking, which would lead to everything that is done being done for the good of humanity as a whole, rather than the enrichment of just a handful.

Yeah, that reset would probably suck and we'd find out that true equity would show just how much we have kind of sucked as a species, but I also think that it would cause us to come together as humans and do things for the race as a whole.

Probably overly idealistic and naive, but that's how I feel.
