me smaht

i like blender. open source software restores my faith in humanity.

@AzulCrescent me use the sims to test interior design

@AzulCrescent This is actually pretty brilliant, last panel be damned.

You get full control, can pre-setup any kind of lighting to help with shading during the paintover, and can reuse props between background scenes.

Plus whole new art skill!

@AzulCrescent blender is so cool and I love that it exists and is useful for so many things!

@AzulCrescent Wow, this is a really awesome idea to use some software in this way, why have I never heard of this before?
@nuranyak @AzulCrescent
it's quite common in concept art for example
@AzulCrescent you like oepnsource? Name every repo

@AzulCrescent My only issue is: I struggle to make up a background

@AzulCrescent Note to myself: to be read left to right, not up to bottom (read in “Z”, not in “И”)… 😅

@TritTriton @AzulCrescent It's interesting why did you read it in that way.

The reading order of comics usually follows the reading order of the original language. For example, to read traditional Japanese text, you need to read from right to left and then from top to bottom (in "N"). And that's why you read manga in exactly the same way. But when you read a European comic made in English (or another European language), you usually read it left to right, then top to bottom (in "Z").

@TritTriton @AzulCrescent It seems that only traditional Mongolian script follows "И" pattern. I doubt you encounter this writing system often, so it seems to me that you simply mixed up the English and Japanese order. To avoid this in the future, you can remember my previous message.

@AzulCrescent Jokes aside, that's a really cool solution
@AzulCrescent More than Open Source, research a little about what Free Software is, that should give you extra faith.
@AzulCrescent Reminds me that I should read Blender BIM. I use Revit 🙃
