Overview The community of Tilden is an unincorporated community and county seat of McMullen County in the State of Texas, along State Highways 16 and 72 to the south of the larger City of San Antonio closer to the corridor of the former. Local amenities associated with the Tilden area include the Tilden Country Inn and the Texan Inn and Suites as well as a local Tex-Mex restaurant at Max’s Café.
