It is a gorgeous sunny day - and our #eucalyptus tree is thriving.
We were a bit concerned with how it would do in the London clay, but with a bit of TLC, a splurge of food, and plenty of water, it is growing up quickly.

One year later, and I think it is fair to say our Eucalyptus tree is *thriving*!
This time last year I was taller than it. Now it is easily twice my height.
Gorgeous smell, beautiful leaves, but sadly hasn't attracted any 🐨

Two years after planting and our eucalyptus is *huge*. Smells incredible when sitting under it for lunch.
Will need a proper trim next year.

Three years after planting, and it was time to give our eucalyptus tree a bit of a trim.

Still haven't attracted any 🐨 to London yet. But now our house is filled with the delicious smell of eucalyptus oil.

I bought a bottle of Eucalyptus Liqueur in Tallinn airport once.
I very definitely do not recommend it.
