Nowhere GirlA movement or an idea isn't invalidated just because a relatively famous person associated with it was a dickbag. It's inevitable that every movement has dickbags in it, taking advantage of whatever power or status they have been given because of it.
You should always cherish principles over figureheads because figureheads will let you down eventually and you have to be prepared to throw them away.
