Any objection to a wealth tax is irrational: When the poorest people have enough to live on, what do they do with it? They SPEND it! Often on the goods & services the WEALTHY have invested in! The entire economy grows, and the wealthiest are thus no worse off.
But neither are the bottom 0%-10%-50%. 🤷

(Personally, I believe NO-one has ever *earned* a £billion+ so that level should be taxed 100%, but this should require intl coordination.)
