Apple just released their first “Background Security Improvement,” a lightweight patch fixing a severe WebKit 0-day exploit.

Finding the new “iOS 26.3.1 (a)” update may not be where you’d expect! You can check in the Settings app, under Privacy & Security > Background Security Improvements. This page will tell you whether you can install it, or if it’s already installed. If you don’t see anything listed at all, give it a minute! We’ve noticed it’s quite slow 🤭
