The right wing media is well funded and powerful. The mainstream media is both compromised and weakening. Indie and left media has some green shoots, but there is nothing that could yet be considered a replacement for either the weakening mainstream media or the omnipresent right wing echo chamber.

But, it takes a lot more dollars than left or indie media currently have.
My argument to donors who want Dems to win is that they should fund real journalism and not try to control it and make a copy of the right's propaganda machine.
My reasoning is that truth is so much more on your side. You don't need to invest as much if you fund truth seekers, not mouthpieces.
