Because the exploit targets the boot ROM burned into silicon, Microslop can’t patch it. Every Xbox One ever manufactured is vulnerable, and always will be. The hack gives complete access to everything — the Hypervisor, the operating system, the ability to run unsigned code at every privilege level. Games and firmware can be decrypted, which could open the door to emulation projects and eventual mod chips.

I guess there’s Rare Replay, but all of those game are already playable on the Steam Deck individually.

Chloé 🥕Well Rare Replay includes a few games in it that imo are fucking classics like Conker (but the best version is Live and Reloaded), Ghoulies, Battletoads, Banjo, Viva Pinata, but most of those are available on pc by other methods afaik, just not bundled with “Rare Replay” (which means Conker is better emulated on the xbox OG, because bot battles Squirrel v Bear.)
