i've decided, for the sake of my confusion, that most of these "don't #vote" voices are trollfarm cosplaying left. to suppress the left vote

not voting means fascists win: this is easy to understand

but that someone's toxic idealism is *that* important to them, to not vote? this is a level of entitlement and egocentrism that is hard for me to grasp

can people be that self-centered that they are ready for the world to go to shit, simply for the sake of their high holy self-regard?

the idea someone supposedly an adult is so fragile that their feelings are crushed by a meanie poopiehead man on intarwebs, so they don't vote. rather than, you know, being an adult? capable of grasping their needs and wants and advocating for them effectively?
