The most annoying thing about the #genAI debate is that there's rabid pro-AI side of people and a rabid anti-AI thing.

And here I am like "guys. guys. The solution is simple. We only use generative AI for the only viable thing it's patently obviously good for right now: randomly fucking around. AND NOTHING ELSE. DON'T DO SERIOUS SHIT WITH IT. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU."

And I get so much hate for that. But mostly from the pro-AI crowd, who obviously don't use *their own goddamn product,* and don't realise *that's the only thing it's good for.*

(I'm also thinking AI is probably good for emerging accessibility technologies! Most of the current AI companies also have fuck-all in bolstering those technologies. So yeah.)
