Markwayne Mullin is saying that he won't be allowing #ICE agents to enter homes forcibly without a judicial warrant.

Of course ICE is going to continue to violate the Fourth Amendment. He is telegraphing that he does not want BLAME for that.

He is dumb enough to take this job after watching what happened to Kristi Noem. He is even dumb enough to think he's smart enough to avoid the same fate.

But even a guy that dumb realizes accountability is coming for her.

He will go down in flames too, of course, just like the ICE agents will find out that neck gaiters don't protect them from data leaks. Hell, that part has already happened.

In the meantime, we already have one Nazi head on a pike. And we have a replacement signaling that he is going to let the ICE agents take all the blame when the time comes. (This was always going to happen anyway, but now he admits it.)

They are slowly losing.

Ha! Further evidence that the fuckers are starting to sweat.

This is yet another thing that never should have happened. Obviously the people backpedaling on this were totally in favor of it and they haven't suddenly turned into good, law abiding people. They're scared of consequences. We're entering the phase where they're all pointing fingers at each other and starting to prepare their criminal defenses.

@MaryAustinBooks Somehow, “the law is the law,” falls silent when it comes to asylum laws. But if the law isn’t always the law, then the argument that there’s a process to fix things if you find the law as it is objectionable, even unethical, is a lie. These aren’t things that you regrettably have to do because “it’s the law.” The immigration authorities have demonstrated their ability and willingness to ignore the law when it conflicts with their grim meathook desires.
@MaryAustinBooks So if it is “fuck the law,” then fuck them and their grim meathook laws.
