So yesterday, I put in an application with a company, and got the usual "Thanks for applying, we'll let you know, yadda yadda yadda" email. It was accompanied by another email that came in at the same time asking me to do a pre-screening with their virtual recruiter.

Yes, I did the screening with their worthless "AI" chatbot. At the end, it asked me to rate my experience with the screening 1-5 (very negative to very positive): I gave it a 2. And left them a very polite yet unhappy feedback.

Then an hour ago, I get another email asking me to leave feedback on my candidate experience. Again I ranked my experience as a "2", and sent them this message in the "Is there anything else you'd like to share" question box. I use Notepad for long answers, in case something goes wrong on the site.

Needless to say, I likely won't be getting that job.

Fuck companies that rely on "AI" to gatekeep roles. All of your C-suite execs are worthless.
