Ken McLeod@kalleboo Is this a possible bug in TalkCrawler Lite 1.1? There seems to be an ImageWriter in the "LikesOldMacs" zone, as shown in Chooser, but no icon shows up next to that item in TCL and it can't be clicked.
paulrickards@_the_cloud @kalleboo Wondering if it's because that printer shows as type "imagewriter" all lower case? It's the only one I see that does that. All others are mixed case "ImageWriter"
@paulrickards @kalleboo That's almost certainly it. @likesoldmacs Is "LYLE ImageWriter II" not a real ImageWriter? I've printed to it successfully so something must be there.
LikesOldMacs@_the_cloud @paulrickards @kalleboo it is a real Imagewriter II with an Apple™ LocalTalk Card. I am away from home til tomorrow evening, but reports from the home front say prints have been coming in.
Anyways I'm convinced there are Imagewriter II ghosts in the network this year!
@likesoldmacs @paulrickards @kalleboo Yeah, I had no trouble printing to it, but the all-lowercase 'imagewriter' type is definitely spooky! I've never seen a card report itself with a lowercase type, but maybe there was some rare version of firmware that did?
@_the_cloud @paulrickards @kalleboo I'll share a pic of it later this week! It is different than the other Apple™ LocalTalk card that randomly stopped working.
