Dude this publisher is totally dogshit. I’m torn between paying for it to support the dev or not.

I don’t understand all these comments where people are trying to decide whether to “supprot the developer” or “screw a huge company”. Like, they do not care one bit about a single sale. It makes no difference.

Here’s my thought process: I loved subnautica 1. Below Zero was decent. I’d like to play the next one, therefore I will buy it. I give zero shit about the politics and lawsuits involved. I like the game so I’ll buy it. Any further mental gymnastics is just pointlessly torturing yourself.

Ah no, buddy, you misunderstand me. I’m gonna play this game, my experience on the previous ones parallels yours closely. I’m deciding if I’m gonna pay for it or not.
Sometimes I’m just doing stuff for chaos’s sake. Ill buy the game just to cause trouble. I guess we just find entertainment value in different things, cause I have a great time with this kind of drama

There be other options, matey.

Eh, I’ll wait for reviews at least. It wouldn’t be the first sequel to drop the ball. I don’t have any loyalty to a company. Even though I think every game they’ve made, from Natural Selection 2 on, including Moonbreakers (even if it didn’t do well it was the best model painting simulator I’ve seen), has been worth playing, that doesn’t mean it always will.
