Jesus received word Lazarus was sick; He delayed until Lazarus was dead. 

Jesus then returned to Judah. 

Lazarus had been buried four days earlier when He had arrived. 

Martha upbraided Him for having not been there.  Jesus confirmed her brother would live again; Martha had confidence in this on the day of resurrection. 

Jesus told her He is the resurrection and the life.  She believed Him. 

They all went to Lazarus’ tomb. 

Jesus wept at the sorrow and lament of His friends and the occasion. 

He asked for the stone to be removed and He prayed to the Father.  He summoned Lazarus to come forth, and Lazarus came forth. 

Those who saw it believed in Jesus.
