Yes Man ending can simultaneously be the best ending or the worst ending. You can create a relatively stable situation where most factions come out ok and no single one absolutely dominates, or you can fuck up everything and leave everyone worse off, including yourself. My last playthrough was basically this, where I wiped out basically every faction while destroying both the securitron army and the dam.

When I watched season 2 of the show...

I was giggling the entire time as I realized that the canon courier was basically the chaos gremlin I played in my last playthrough. I was looking forward to doing a playthrough where I tried to recreate the canon ending, but there’s no point because the only things I did differently were clearing quarry junction and destroying the Khans. I’m not really that surprised, as I suspected the show would piss off the fanboys of every faction, but I didn’t think it would be this savage. That’s not to say I’m disappointed; this outcome really does make a lot of thematic sense.
