i was thinking about it more in the lines of rubber bullets and teargas. i don’t get how a barbecue constrained on rails could ever be that useful.
are they not getting shot at or beaten? no water cannons? no dirty tactics to surround and suffocate them to death with teargas?
either this protest is not consequential enough or the french have it much easier than what we get in the global south.
Barbecue CowboyThe french have firmly established that peaceful protests are only their first step and they have a long history proving their willingness to take it further.
They can afford to have a protest like this because they are lucky in that their government is still scared of them escalating it. This is just a warning protest.
