dandelionamazing, but if the other team were using boosts too, I don’t see why they should have forfeited - it feels less like cheating and more like creatively exploiting the map to me 🤔
but I’m not an esports person, and I really enjoyed learning how to glitch and exploit maps like this in various games - so my perspective might be biased 😅
Their boost really was that much more powerful, plus they used it every round, even buying one of the most maligned and disrespectful weapons in the game, the auto sniper, which really rubbed people the wrong way. A position like that never should’ve made it into a professional tournament, and Valve’s standards for such silliness in maps drastically changed in the following years. Now you can rarely have so much fun 😔
Another big issue imo was the fact that the boost was found a couple months before the tournament and they asked other teams/streamers to not use it on stream until after the tournament, which just feels scummy all around
