Yesterday we held a colorful tree-planting program in the Lunnya the small town Together with pupils from Lwamata Primary School in Lunnya, we walked through the the community carrying tree seedlings to the planting site. Along the way, many people joined and learned about our mission. Even those who didn’t know us before came to understand our work to protect the environment, fight climate change, and secure a better future through actions like tree planting.

We planted different types of trees, including both fruit-bearing and non-fruit trees, all of which benefit and support a healthier environment. Thank you for your support and for following our amazing posts today. @Gustodon ✌️🙏

These posts make me very happy. They spark so much joy and #hope! May your garden and your community grow like peppermint (one of my favourite plants, always on my balcony, it’s incredibly resilient)!
@KorinnaAllhoff Thank you so much We are happy to hear that you also have plants that you care about. Yes, it is not always easy, but we keep trying and doing our best to make progress in our communities.
@econetwork
I do! In spring and summer we always have multiple types of berries, various herbs and fresh salad. We even have a little worm box to produce humus and fertiliser! I very much hope my children will also learn how to grow food and to appreciate the work and patience needed for good products…

It's a fantastic way to generate compost, and liquid compost (basically worm poop) which is even better as fertilizer. But u does require a bit more work than normal composting

Yes, that’s it! I disagree on your last point though, because our worm box needs almost zero maintenance. We get hummus about three to four times a year and liquid fertiliser maybe once a month or so. The latter can even be produced on demand simply by adding water to the box and waiting for liquid („worm tea“) to drip into the gray tray below…
@KorinnaAllhoff @econetwork I see, I had the impression that require more work in keeping the worms alive and whatnot but great to hear that is so easy to keep

We can even go on vacation, they can easily survive up to 3 weeks without any care. Best pets ever! 😉
