Brainstorming and mixing concepts for #WorldBuilding: #Astrology and #Chess.

This is still an idea in progress and am curious to see any feedback or additions the community might have to build upon what's going on here. Right now this idea is being used to show dynamic between different characters.

Existence
Each major piece has the characteristics of opposing signs coming together as a singular theme or responsibility to focus in on.

Fluctuation
The minor pieces, pawns, are shown as moon phase symbols to display alignment between cause and effect (otherwise can be seen as where lines are drawn in support for a given case).

Reality
Featuring a 7x7 checkered board with one team keeping its own power in check. Bishops keep King and Queen in check. They're in line with the cycle of the pawns to show the backing they get from them. Knights can take out all pawns together except for full support pawns, and one individually cannot take out the closest pawns to them. Rooks encapsulate the rest of the pieces like fortress walls. Queen-aligned pieces are aligned to move down the board while King-aligned are to move up (in perspective). Full support pawns keep Rooks in check.

@dezmo oooooh i like thuis very much. It could be a puzzle game where a single player balances out their stars, or a 2 player game where the goal is to create harmony. Maybe give players conflicting goals to work on where they try to find a balance
