I decided to take a big step this week and cancel Paramount+ for good. Likewise, I had recently subscribed to BritBox and just added Acorn TV.

I will miss some current CBS story lines not being completed, and the pure joy in one or two of those shows. But the experience was basically like downing sugar: heightened curiosity for a while before realizing how unsatisfied I was.

I daresay with the different subject matters, formats, and filming processes, I'll be much happier with the two new (to me) services.
