Sometimes I still think back to that successfully funded but never completed Kickstarter for Pale Blue. It's been almost ten years since the final update that they completed the demo and needed Tinker Games to fund the full project, but it might have all been a big scheme in the end.

Mostly I just liked the shapeshifter monster girl character and it seemed to have a bit more worldbuilding in mind than they could do at the time. This was just before the Hollow Knight Kickstarter campaign too, so there wasn't as much precedent for game campaign successes then other than like Star Citizen (which still isn't completed btw) and it just managed to push past the goal. It didn't have a lot of actual promise to be any good but maybe enough to be finished at least. The demo linked in the campaign is long since gone now, but at least the concept art still exists. Just an interesting game idea that comes to mind from time to time

The company was a mobile game publisher from Indonesia that never put out anything nearly as big as this project so there shouldn't have been much hope for it, but I still wanted a monster game. Evolve also should have filled that void but it was an unbalanced game that I still don't understand that monetization system they failed to be clear about.
gimme more monster game
