The tone of the South Australian election campaigns is better than in other jurisdictions, research shows, due to parties having to scrutinise every statement and provide evidence that the advertisement is verified before publication.

@www.crikey.com.au I appreciate these laws. It means that a candidate can only be called a drug dealer if the courts have found him to be a drug dealer, so the leaflet in the letterbox the other day was completely truthful.
