I got an automated phonecall informing me that someone is trying to log in to my TD bank account - Lemmy.ca

I don’t have a TD bank account Yes, I know this was a scam call. They automate them now so they don’t have to talk to you unless you take the bait

I get the ones at my work either claiming to be from Microsoft or being some random due with an Indian accent insisting he’s from “my” IT department. Which is a neat trick, because I am the IT department around here in its entirety.

I love these scams, I just wait 'til they connect a human to the line and ask them what “my” name is. XD
