I am sick to fucking death of #TERFs. I suspected they were punching down when they asked me obscure questions about sports. I knew they were punching down when they called me a gender traitor for saying trans rights are human rights.

And now, I am on a waiting list for a laproscopy to diagnose & treat #endometriosis with a 12-week target but 65-week reality. JKR is not campaigning for quicker treatment for me. TERFs are not picketing the Health Secretary.

Where is the TERF outrage at gynae waiting lists? I'll tell you the only time they've engaged on the subject with me. They asked me why I'm not angry about trans women accessing gynae services 🙄

Like, apart from the fact I'm statistically as likely to be treated by a trans person than in the queue behind one, there are SO MANY things to address first:
- women's health is chronically underfunded and underresearched
- gynae waitlists are underreported
- symptoms are minimised / dismissed*

*for example: I had a period that lasted 46 days, as in 46 days of mid to heavy bleeding. Forty. Six. Days. It was recorded as one word, "irregular". Which is true, but y'know, it doesn't begin to capture the whole picture.
Just to be clear, trans women have never, ever stopped me from going about my daily life. TERFs do not speak for me and they certainly haven't lifted a finger to help in any of the actual situations that have been traumatic in my life. They're not radical feminists, they're fascists.
